At Mommy Labs Dx, your privacy is not an afterthought — it is built into how our service works. This Policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, what we retain, and your rights. Please read it before submitting any information.

What Information We Handle

When you use Mommy Labs Dx, you type in a few details about your prenatal lab bill. We do not collect, upload, or store any bill document, image, or file. As part of the analysis, the information you enter is limited to:

  • Lab company name

  • Test name (as it appears on your bill)

  • Billing code (e.g., CPT), if available

  • Charged amount

  • Billed amount

We do not ask for your name, date of birth, insurance information, or any other personal or medical identifiers as part of the analysis. Payment information is handled separately by Stripe (see Payment Processing below).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you enter to:

  • Read the submitted line items

  • Compare those charges against publicly available pricing data

  • Generate a personalized savings report for you

  • Retain a de-identified record of the pricing involved to improve our comparisons (see How We Handle and Retain Your Information)

How We Handle and Retain Your Information

We do not collect, upload, or store any bill document, image, or file — there is nothing to upload in the first place.

The bill details you type in are processed in memory to generate your report and to carry your session through checkout. We do not store these entries in any way that is linked to you, your payment, or your session, and once your report is delivered or your session expires, your individual entries are discarded.

To improve the accuracy of our price comparisons, we retain a de-identified record of the lab, test, billing code, and amounts involved — with no information that identifies you, your payment, or your session, and no precise timestamp. Because this data cannot be linked back to you, it functions as aggregate market-pricing information rather than personal information.

Payment Processing

Your $20 payment is processed by Stripe, our payment provider, under Stripe's own privacy policy. Stripe collects the payment details you enter (such as your name, email, and card information); we receive confirmation of payment but do not receive or store your full card details. To match your completed payment to your pending report, we use a random, anonymous token that contains no personal or health information — we do not link your payment to the specific bill details you entered.

Disclosures We Do Not Make

We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose your information to:

  • Third-party advertisers or data brokers

  • Insurance companies

  • Employers

  • Any party not essential to delivering your analysis or processing your payment

We do not use your information for marketing or advertising. Beyond generating your report and processing your payment, the only information we retain is the de-identified pricing data described above — never information that identifies you.

We may disclose information only if required by law (e.g., a valid court order or government mandate), and only to the minimum extent required.

Your Rights

  • Right to know — You may request information about how your data was used during your session.

  • Right to file a complaint — If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, contact us at hello@mommylabsdx.com.

  • Right to withdraw — We do not retain your individual entries or any data linked to you after your session, so there is nothing personal to delete. The de-identified pricing data we keep cannot be connected to you, and therefore cannot be individually identified or removed.

Mommy Labs Dx provides bill analysis only. We are not a medical provider, insurer, legal advisor, or billing advocate. Nothing in your report constitutes medical, legal, or financial advice. We encourage you to consult a qualified professional before taking action on any findings.

Changes to This Notice

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
